Default 2011 CX-7 running poorly

I have a CX-7 with 87,000 mi on it touring edition with the turbo. When I bought it the test drive was smooth and the car ran well. The next day I drove it more than 200 mi on a regional trip and the car ran well. A couple days later I drove it to the grocery store and it started hiccuping and actually died at a red light. The check engine light came on so I connected it to a scanner and the code suggested a problem with the crankshaft or camshaft sensor. We replaced both and it runs worse now than before, barely runs down the road at all, choking like it's got a load of water in the gas. Anyone run into something like this with this model that found the cause and solution?

My wife's 2011 CX-7 (2.5L) has had no issues other than normal wear items and a stripped plastic gear ($10) for the driver window motor in 105+K miles. Edit: fuel economy is not the greatest. I think we get about21-24 MPG. Tutuapp 9apps
