Default '07 CX-7 AC Compressor Clutch Coil issue

I have a 2007 CX-7, approximately 160,000 miles, 2.3L turbocharged. I recently charged my AC system with an AC Pro kit. I followed the instructions exactly (I am very mechanically capable and have performed this procedure countless times on other vehicles). Now my compressor clutch does not seem to be working. I have performed trouble shooting as much as possible. I tried removing the relay and jumping the connection, but the clutch did not engage. The only "click" or activation was in the other fuse panel located under the hood on the driver's side. I am unable to access the connection at the coil without dissasembly so I haven't been able to verify power at the connector itself. My question is has anyone seen a similar issue after using a store bought AC recharge kit, or is it possible that the low pressure switch is not working correctly. I find it very hard to believe that the clutch coil just suddenly failed at the same time I serviced the system. Also, if replacing the clutch coil is my only option, can anyone tell me where to find a kit from somewhere other that a mazda parts dealer and for less that $900. I have searched all the usual sources (autozone, napa, rockauto, etc) and no one even seems to have the part. I really don't want to have to replace the compressor since I don't believe that it's the problem. Thank you for any assistance.

Is it possibly 'over' charged? Actually I'm not all that familiar with AC systems (beyond using the self recharge kits myself a couple times), but that is the first thought that came to mind.

I have read some things in other forums for other Mazda models that leads me to believe that is a possibility, but again it's hard to diagnose and unfortunately it's not as simple as just bleeding off pressure on the low pressure side.
