As i stated wiper blades either the complete or just the inserts has always been troublesome to know all the different arm vs adapters to change them. It has nothing to do with age.
Although I normally do not like to recommend wipers because everyone has opinions and seldom do they consider the condition of their windshield.... and very few people have actually tested many brands close to the same time brands to do a real comparison and objective review. Because I owned a couple of Auto Parts stores I got to? I personally like the Motium from Amazon and Trico. I keep several around for all my vehicles.

On a side note... grim_reaper is the main moderator on this forum and is also a Certified MAZDA Technician with many years experience under his belt. I am going on over 30 years as ASE Master Technician and owner /operator of a few vehicle related business. Point is if we take the time to answer and participate on a thread it is because we want to help and give experienced based information that is IMHO a little better that a member that is a DIY.
User names on forums for many of us that belong to many if not dozens of forum is simply fun so I would not read so much into what they are. On one forum my user name is Nitro. Many have often said a few things about it in less than positive comments towards me not realizing that was my nickname when I raced professionally and ran Nitromethane in my car.

 

i am a arrogant & rude person who likes to argue with the kind advice & information freely provided by people who give up their time for free to help others.

I need to learn to pull my head in, and scroll past, not making a dick out of myself.

General rudeness, calling me & Callisto names. Questioning our advice & knowledge shared. After issuing a infraction, he replied with more nastiness. So I banned him.
I don't get paid to be here, my reward is educating people and helping them with their questions.
