2004 Mazda 3 Wiper Stuck in Up Position
Hi There,
I've got a 2004 Mazda 3 and my front wipers just began stopping in the up position when I turn the wipers off. They also stop in the same up position when the wipers are paused in the intermittent wiping mode. They work just fine when I have them fully turned on (i.e. not turned off or not in intermittent mode).
I've read a few general automotive threads on the web that there is a tab that needs to get bent back in on the wiper transmission in order to fix this sort of problem. My question before I start taking my wiper assembly apart is whether I can easily access the wiper transmission inside the wiper motor to do this sort of fix on a Mazda 3? Or do I have to just replace the entire motor assembly?
