Hi! I’m looking to buy a CX-5 in 2019. Being really concerned about engine stop-start technology I wanted to be sure the CX-5 had a temporary defeat switch like that “Circle-A” I’ve seen in pictures of some cars. In the on-line manual I have for the CX-5 it’s there as plain as day, but in the PDF form of the owner’s manual I cannot find a single mention of i-stop or the “i-stop OFF” button. (See page 1-2 of the PDF manual.) I can find photos of it in the switch cluster of 2018 and earlier CX-5 models, but nothing in the 2019. Here’s a picture from the Web manual: Cluster Switch showing i-stop OFF button
Is it on your 2019 car? Does your owners manual mention it?
Thanks much, - Dave

The PDF manual I have is 2019_cx5_om.pdf downloaded on 12/26/2018 9:10 PM, while the on-line manual I’m referring to is at http://owners-manual.mazda.com/gen/e...18b/howto.html (might be for 2018 models.)
