Still not buying; please post an image of the receipt you got from the junk yard showing the year, model, and mileage of the VW you junked. No pics and it didn't happen as you say.

 

Shipo, Cut the new guy some slack. Maybe he originally meant that he lost so much after 11 months that it was like junking it and stuck with the statement.

My bet is that he lost a bunch on something that should not have been sold in the first place.

No harm with the version of the story as he has told it and no need to prove anything to us.

 

Sorry, not backing off; I smell a significant element of fabrication in his statement about "junking" an almost new car; too many urban legends and fake allegations start from stuff like this.

No apology, I never said they didn't sell pre-production cars. What I said was I doubt your story you simply junked an eleven month old car.
