Ditto. It should definitely be part of it. Mazda only charged us a $500 deductible on a $4500 after-warranty job to replace the rear differential on one of our 2021s with 70k miles at the time. We had to contact the headquarters and start a case, but they finally budged when the rear diff was about to blow up lmao. If you're within the warranty it's best to get the issue documented and noted ASAP.
