Used 2021 CX5 CE. Looking for a little comfort
Hi all,
New to the forum. Im switching from 2013 accord to CX5 and i guess i just need a little assurance for myself lol. Im looking at a 2021 cx5 carbon edition with 28k miles on it for 28,500. I already drove it twice and its coming from a fairly reputable local dealership. It is certified if that means anything. They did put brand new tires on it as i can see that its new and not the oem tires that comes on these. Exterior is fairly nice with just a couple scratches that they said they will buff up and touch up. Interior is same with couple scuff marks. It just got a new windshield as there was a chip and they told me that when i went and test drove it. The only thing that worried me when driving was the gas pedal seem a little soft. Only way i can explain is that when im coasting and i want to accelerate it took just a bit for it to respond. Besides that no weird noises and comfortable drive and smooth shifting. The warranty that comes with the car is almost over but with it being certified it does add another year or 1200 miles. Also 7 years 100k miles on power train. Should i be worried about the gas pedal? Is this a decent deal? Someone make me feel better about this as this is the most expensive car i've ever bought. I did search through forums and there were some posts about having the transmission learn your driving style by resetting it yourself. There is a video on youtube on how to do it and im guessing i will probably do that once i get the car.
