You'll need to look at the specs/features for your particular model.
CX-5 2.5 S SELECT: Includes two rear charging ports.
Sport design: SKYACTIV-G 2.5 and Cylinder Deactivation rear arm rest ports.
Grand Touring and Signature: may have them depending on what package and features you selected.

what usb connector? USB, usb c., usbc micro?

 

Your owner's manual should tell you for sure but from what I can find:
(2.5 S CE, Prem, Prem Plus, Carbon Turbo, 2.5 T Prem, 2.5 T Sig)
USB Type C x2 + USB Type A x 2 in lieu of USB Type A X 4
Supposedly the 2 USB-c ports are the ones in the front and Type A in the back.

 

I am confused. You have the car and don't know what the connector is? Can't you look in the center console and see what connector type is in your car?

usb -c is the port.
on 2021 it was usb .

 

I initially tried to plug a USB-A plug cable into the rear console usb port into my new 2024 Mazda CX-5 Carbon Edition. Most of my cables I use are still USB-A. I bought an USB-A to C Adapter. I'm a older person who relies on reading glasses. It's hard to see inside that center console.

 

Use a flashlight...
