Default Turning sound - especially when parking backwards

Hello,

I'm a 10 day new owner of the 2019 CX-5 2.5L petrol 194CP aspirated. I'm happy with the car except for a few sounds when bumped from the doors, similar to those made by the crickets (I understand it's some caps behind the inner handles) and, perhaps even more 'serious' because I don't know how to categorize it yet, a sound that only comes out sometimes, especially when I want to side park on the right or park with the rear still on the right.

I have been to 4 service shops, and in 2 of them I did steering/suspension check and they found nothing wrong and heard nothing in the car.

At a third service I couldn't reproduce the sound and they quickly said there was nothing wrong with the car.

The last service told me it was a "normal" sound when I managed to reproduce it as far as they could, but I can't quite believe it.

They checked the damper flanges, pivots, bushings, steering linkage and bar ends.

My big fear is that it might be a steering column/box problem, quite expensive.

I'm leaving below 2 links to see the videos and let me know if I can get an opinion. - In the first attached video you can see how after a period of time, at the same turn level, the sound stops.

Yes I can hear the sound.
An electric steering is not really designed forcing from a stationary position back and forth.

That sound is not normal, but your videos are showing extreme steering adjustments which is not the best driving technique. My guess is the dealership drove your Mazda in a normal fashion and that is why they herd nothing??? . I suggest that you accompany them with you while you demonstrate that sound that you're generating and have them do another assessment.
