Good morning all,

in the Mazda phone app my vehicle VIN shows up as Trim RTR. What does the RTR stand for ?

I have an 2016 AWD 2.5L Auto transmission

Same goes for the data on Mymazda.com . . . .

 

Just emailed Mazda and asked the question.

 

I'm curious as well. The only thing I found on a search was:

which obviously is not what we are looking for.

 

RTR is used by Mazda on their website as well, is part of the url for certain models.

TR night be touring, but no idea what the first R stands for.

 

Could it be Touring Reserve?

 

Been three weeks now, no response from Mazda yet. :-) Will give them one more week and then re-mail them.

 

Contacted customerexperience@mazdausa.com twice during the last 2 months, only response where two automatic emails "Thank you for contacting Mazda. . . . . . "

I can honestly say this is a very unexpected customerexperience :-)

 

Hi guys, I have been away for a while and would like to inform you that on March 9 a "Representative, Customer Experience" contacted (finally) me.

He wrote: "......The CX5 RTR XA is the model and trim for the vehicle. The RTR model is the only CX5 that comes with bock the MR/Bose Pkg and Touring Tech Pkg....."

Does anyone know what XA stands for ? I assume Bose is the radio system, but what is MR ?
