Although I have a short list of favorites on my Nav on the 2014 CX5, I can't seem to add any favorites now.

Could someone please remind me of the procedure for adding a name and address?

Add

Enter a new favorite via inputting an address or using a point on the map or your current location.

Thanks, pipe major - thought that's what I tried. Shouldn't there be a "save to favorites" option?

'Save to Favorites' / 'Add' when you're in the Manage Favorites menu - same thing. I'm a long-time Garmin user so it's taking a bit longer for me to learn the Tom-Tom interface.

Yes, me too. Garmin is so much more intuitive.

Still can't locate the 'add favorite' option on the tomtom. Having to use Garmin anyway. Also can't update the tomtom map via Mac. Why do they make it so complicated?

Thanks pipemajor. So do you hit 'add favorite' before or after selecting the address?

Once in the Add Favorite screen, you can enter a new address, reference a recent destination or use your current location.

There is no option to save an address after entering it as you can on the Garmin.
