I'm considering this car, but when I try to google comparisons with similar cars (e.g. RAV4) I only get 2018 RAV vs 2017 CX-5. I'm beginning to believe there are no 2018 CX-5s. If there are where are the comparisons?

I can find reviews that claim to be reviewing 2018s alone but none with comparisons -- makes me think there aren't any.

 

My local dealership has 40 CX-5s on the lot, all of which are 2017 models. Sounds like the 2018s haven't hit the showroom yet.

Don't expect any significant changes for 2018 models. The car has only been out a few months!
