Purchased a CPO 2020 GT FWD with 29000 miles in Dec of last year. The problem is as described in TSB 05-002/20 (attached) I have taken vehicle to 2 separate Mazda dealers. Both dealers have reprogramed the PCM to the latest up date. The SUV still drives the same , no difference. The acceleration is not smooth and linear. Love the vehicle except for this surging issue. Any ideas or thoughts as to get this corrected?

 

So many possibilities, but have the dealer check for vacuum leaks.

 

Thanks CarpeDiem for your reply. The vehicle operates normally at speeds above 30MPH and it averages 27-28 MPG
