Strongly considering a 2026 CX- 5
Get a 2025, still have a few new around me.
Hopefully the 26’s will be great, but any new design needs a few years.
2025’s have 8 years of production development behind them.
I never buy a first year.
Bought a 25 just because they are proven.
Did the same with my truck, 2019 Frontier, made since 2005. 2005-2010 Nissan had serious radiator and chain guide issues.
New motor and trans in 2020 Frontiers have seen many connecting rod failures, and programming problems issues.
Don’t be a beta tester.

Back in the day you could say perhaps a dice roll on buying a new model but not anymore nothing like the 1950s-1980's.rolmao.
You do realize that your information is not only antiquated but unrealistic. Auto manufactures like Mazda developed the models at least 2+ years before they are released. Sooooo lots of testing in the lab and real world operating. They don't always report nor are they required to make available that information testing information.
There are no guarantees even after a year or several years of sales and road use by the consumer that some unforeseen real manufacturing issues may not appear. There are safety recalls start at the end of last year on many platforms that effected model production years dating 5 or more years ago.
In other thought process when you purchase a new vehcle at any time you are always a BETA TESTER.
If everyone waited to buy a new vehicle several years after it was released the automotive manufacturers would slowly go out of business. This would have a domino effect filtering all the way down into the world transpiration economy. Thankfully it is only a minute number of individuals that have the thought wait and see attitude.

Dude, they are reporting about cars they are actually driving. They are in the magazine's fleet of long term cars. They aren't leaving anything out, they are reporting about their real world experience of driving a 26 CX-5....
And once again, I can post whatever I want. I don't need your permission to do so...
