CX5 AWD, 2014 - UK
on the initial start of the engine, there is a noticeable knock from the front wheel area drivers side (RHS), only on start up
then when you reverse, there is a grinding noise from the same area - more noticeable in reverse btw.
on going forward it eventually goes a little quieter, then when on the open road cruising, if you move the steering left to right, the noise gets worse & better back and fourth
its not the brakes that's 100% for sure, so either the drive shaft or the bearing maybe? - that could explain the grinding noise, but what about the initial knock on start up
please help, before I start replacing the wrong parts as its driving me crazy
