Default Steering wheel track selection stopped working

With spotify via Bluetooth. 2022 cx5, never had an issue selecting tracks while listening to spotify via Bluetooth. Now the song info doesnt display and i cant select tracks. I have the latest ios on iphone 16 and i tried removing and repairing my phone. The device connects no problem and the audio is fine. Thoughts?

Glad you identified your issue.
This is why I use corded and not Bluetooth as the wireless issue will likely reappear at some point, just the nature of phone software updates.
I've never had a music issue with a cord in any of my vehicles.

Same here. Only happened to me once or twice because a cord was going bad, but no issues otherwise.
