Default Latest firmware

You don't have the latest. You need north of 70.00.352.

Where do I get it? The most recent download link appears to be for 367.

367 is newer than 352 - I will make a note of that. {insert Picard facepalm here}

Default My bad

367 but I had my first SiriusXM failure tonight. So it still can.happen at times .

A soft reboot fixed it.

Mazda sent me a buyer satisfaction survey this week. I hammered them on this issue.. While it has gotten better, it isnt 100% fixed.

Default 2020 Mazda CX-5 same issues with Sirius

We bought it in March. Because of the pandemic, we only have 2,000 miles on it. Sirius goes out usually a couple of times a month and sometimes as often as twice a week (in the past 6 days). We've called Sirius multiple times and they've done a reset. They've transferred us to a top tier service tech who did a complete hard reboot, which lasted about 3-weeks. Sirius promises us that it is a Mazda issue. We have two other vehicles, a 2019 Chevy and a 2019 Honda, both with Sirius and neither have ever had a single issue. That makes me believe that it is not a Sirius issue. I get the message on the Mazda "Channel Not Available" and with the Honda sitting right beside it, Sirius works fine. We've called Mazda and we were told that they "have not heard of this issue", which is an absolute lie since I've seen posts here going back to 2016. We were told that the Service Manager would call us back within the hour...which didn't happen. He's obviously as worthless as the Sales Manager. Sirius got to the point where they sent us a text and the link so that we could refresh the signal ourselves rather than calling them each time. Of course, we have to stop and do the reset, and usually, about five minutes later, it comes back up. This is ridiculous. No way Mazda can say they don't know about it, especially with other customers having new fin antennas being installed along with other attempts to rectify the situation.

Default It is not a Sirius issue

Absolutely correct. It is a bug with the Mazda infotainment firmware, nobody what anybody tells you.

If you load the latest .367 firmware it is more stable and you won't have the problem as frequently. You can do that yourself, or go to the dealer and demand they load it for you. And don't let up on them. Insist! Good luck!

How do you load the 367 firmware?
I also found an email address for Mazda Complaints in the Corporate website. I sent them a lengthy email, explaining the same issues. At this point, it's about making a record of the issues with Mazda.
Thanks for the information.

Update.
I sent the email to the complaint department at Mazda Corporation. Within 30 minutes, I got a call from the service department where I bought the CX-5. He told me that he just got a phone call from corporate about the issue. He said they have a manual from corporate about the Sirius issues. It's going in Tuesday to be repaired.

Definitely the issue is with the infotainment and XM-receiver. Still happens on my CX-5 every so often, just not enough that I am going to run to the dealer to get the latest firmware put on (especially since it does not completely fix the problem). I can live with it since I know that all I have to do basically is pull over, shut the car off, and then restart it, and XM is fine. Not that big a deal to me however YMMV.
