The seat electronics on the mazda cx5 driver's side do not work
I have a Mazda cx 5 2014 year.
The driver's side electronics don't work - they're not completely dead..may work for a fraction of a second.
There is also a clicking sound (like a relay) that clicks every 10 seconds.
This clicking sound can also be heard, even if the ignition is not on. Works fine on the passenger side.
Does anyone know if there is 1 relay for both chairs..or if it could be a relay that is faulty? Or any other tips.
I haven't checked the electronics under the seat yet - hoping for some good advice or someone who has experienced this before.

Relays you hearing are located in driver's POSITION MEMORY CONTROL MODULE, not serviceable. Disconnect neg battery terminal for a while and try again without saving a seat memory.
If relays are clicking and barely moving motors, check harnesses and connectors but probably module failed. Module is located underneath driver's seat. Whatever you do disconnect battery when working airbag sensors are in the area.
Just a FYI should you or anyone decide to attempt this DIY method posted!
This is not an advisable method to service or diagnosis the seat problem.
This method is purely a DIY method and not a MAZDA recommended service diagnosis procedure nor is it even in ALLData service recommendation procedures.
This also enters a possible area of service that is around the SRS system components. Any service around the SRS should be performed by a experienced service technician and shop for your own personal safety!
