Replacement for CX-5’s original Toyo tires?
Hi, folks. I did a search but couldn’t find any comments on this.
I have a 2022 CX-5 Signature and it’s time to replace the Toyos it came with, which I don’t like anyway.
We live in Calgary and I’ve found it prudent to run winters in the winters (I have Blizzaks currently, on 17 inch wheels) and because it can snow any time, I like all-seasons for the summer. I’m running Michelin Pilot Sports on my 2005 A4 Avant and they’re very good, but that may be an apples to oranges comparison between a sport wagon and an SUV. I’m wondering if there’s any consensus on great 19 inch replacements for the Toyos.
Thanks for your help!

Tires are like what oil to use "opinion" based.
With that in mind IMO Toyo's are terrible.
I replaced my 19" with Pirelli Scorpion AS plus 3 and am very happy with them for my driving style (aggressive and a lot of corners
)
They have work good for me in all weather conditions here in Maine.

And unless another vehicle is exactly the same in year and model as well chassis and suspension condition you can't really make a comparison or gain a level of any real usable experience either.
can't say as I would use what motor oil use as an example, but I get the reference for choosing a tire , mainly because at least with that there is empirical information that is universal to use. And not just what the oil cap states.
Just bought the Scorpion AS 3+ to replace the Original Toyos (only 16,200miles). Cx-5 2023 Signature. Can't comment on them yet.
Update, still feel bumps but not as harsh with the Toyos.
