My 2021 CX5 with 10k miles. Just off a long trip (2k miles) where the system would randomly reboot. One where it just shut off and would not turn on. I pressed the center control **** and the on/off together, and it reset.

Anyone else experience this sort of thing? BTW i was using Android auto most of the time, and streaming XM radio thru the vehicle, not the phone.

 

The system can be buggy at times. If you keep having to do the reset I would suggest trying a different cable to connect the phone first. They can be quite finicky. If that does nothing I would take it in. Some folks have had their systems replaced.

 

Book it in with Mazda for a software update.
