Rear Body Control Module (RBCM) Question

It should work as-is, only difference I see is the second hand part has option Find My Car enabled, by clicking FOB close button twice in rapid succession horn will honk, useful to locate car in a crowded parking lot.
Anyway if you don't want this option enabled It's very easy to modify, the line you need to change is in RBCM section, 7B7-01-02 8701 D300 0824 A501 D300 0842nothing else. Replace hex A5--> 87 and checksum from 42--> 24.
Write and save. Recycle ignition. You need to request Forscan a free license via e-mail to make changes.

Thank you once again! I can live with that.
I don't believe they are doing the free licences anymore due to Russian Hackers? I've bit the bullet and paid the £9.99 for an annual.
One thing I did note was that all the modules only had a voltage of 11.7v and the FORscan was showing 11.4V. This is a relatively new battery but I'll stick it on charge today just in case.
Also, initially it said the ELM327 was not suitable for the CX-5 and I would need a different adaptor to read everything. It then seemed to read everything. So not sure what that means?
Cheers

Hi Mazdaon, well I finally got to the rear BCM and replaced it with the comapatible unit. Alas, no different.
Forscan still cannot read the module so its obviously an issue between BCM and main computer?
Unable to clear the faults as it won't read it so still have the faults.
As I've lost rear wiper, AC, fuel gauge etc., I'm wondering now if maybe we have a damaged loom, broken Negative connection or a relay gone down?
Would you have any further ideas where to start looking next? Thanks again for all your help

Hi ts,petrov. My issue was the rear view camera was letting in water and shutting down the RBCM. Mazda found the issue in 30mins or less! Forscan etc. cant read the RBCM because of how its coded. You can disconnect the rear camera loom and see if it all resets (diconnect battery for 20mins and reconnect)
