Having recently had a CX5 Diesel where I got about 48mpg after 3yrs of use. I've now got a 2.0L Petrol Sport model and after I filled up the tank I nearly keeled over in shock at the "range" I was expected to get...298miles.

I've done about 330miles and it's just under a half tank. What can I reasonably expect to get from a full tank, in terms of miles per gallon and the range ??

 

Mid to high 30's. 36 37 38mpg. All depends on vehicle condition, how heavy your right foot is & weather its city or highway driving.

 

Since you seem to have calculated the fuel efficiency of your CX Diesel (48mpg) I would assume that you know how to calculate the same for your new CX? If you know the fuel efficiency and the number of gallons in the tank you can calculate how far you can go on said tank, right?
