Hello all. I am the proud owner of a 2025 CX5 and have been trying to 'learn' my new car. First, on past vehicles, I have been able to push/turn the radio power button and the radio powers up. I can adjust the speaker volume and when I am done I turn/push the power button and the radio goes OFF. I can't seem to do that with this car. Whenever I start it the car the radio station I selected a week ago automatically starts and if I am using navigation I must turn the small radio volume **** to minimum. I read a post that said to push the volume button down for 20 seconds and it will turn the RADIO off. Tried this and NO it didn't instead it turned the whole infotainment screen OFF. SO, HOW do I turn the radio off not just reduce the volume?? Secondly, I believe it was stated the infotainment screen was touchscreen in this years model. I have tried touching it and nothing seems to happen. Is touchscreen automatically enabled or is there some settings screen that needs to be dealt with? I have tried reading the owners manual looking for these answers but cannot find them. Perhaps I need new glasses. Lastly, the owners manual stated the oil recommended for the US is 0w20 yet if I lived in other countries I could use a selection of heavier grade oils. I am just curious, do you all out there use the 0w20 or something heavier? MPG is not my primary concern - longevity and reliability of my engine is. THANKS for any and all information provided. Taking the time to read it should answer all your questions and can also prevent future issue and/or problems that may arise by not doing so.
