Problems with iActivsense?
I have a brand new 2016.5 CX-5 GT with iactivsense technology package.
I'm wondering if anyone has experienced problems with extreme glare causing problems with the sensors.
First incident: Glare off the back of a bright white van in front of me either blinded or overwhelmed the radar sensor. The vehicle image in the radar cruise control display kept intermittently disappearing, even though I was well within range of the vehicle for it to be permanently displayed.
Second, more serious incident: Glare off a car pulling away from me tripped the smart city braking and brought my car to a dead stop in city traffic.
Has anyone else experienced either of these problems?
