Cool possible to add an amp

I have. 2017 CX 5 GS, personally I found the sound system inadequate. Is it possible to add a sub and an amp with this car . My first car with the touch screen and amp built in there.

Yes unless you have a BOSE system it is pretty straight forward installation.

BOSE may not give you the sound results you are looking form. And even used the complete system would cost from $500-1000
As you don't have a BOSE system then installing a powered Sub-woofer is easy.
If you want to change out the existing speaker and add a 4 channel amp that would improve your sound system considerably.

However the better route would first be to remove the door panel and install sound reducing material and then see what how you like what you have . Either way you should first do that before the speaker swapping out.
