P203E code on 2.2Diesel
Hi folks.
My CX5 2.2 diesel has recently started throwing a CEL caused by the P203E code in the SCR (Adblue ) control system.
The adblue percentage on the dash has also been erratic - sometimes showing dashes instead of the real percentage of adblue in the tank.
I can clear the code, but it comes back in a day.
I am guessing this is another case of crystals building up on the adblue tank sensor.
Has anyone had luck with flushing out the tank with warm water?
Alternatively, how can I get the Adblue level sensor coded out?
best regards to all
Andy

Welcome to the fourm
When you "clear" a DTC all you really is doing is turning off the dash caution light. The DTC is still active in the ECU until the caused is corrected. Because it returns only means that the ECU went through a basic engine cycling and found that the issue causes a DTC was not corrected.
You need to investigate further information in the ECU and then set a service action plan to check all possible causes that can lead to the DTC. Which is another misconception among owners and unqualified mechanics a DTC does not necessary mean that the DTC definition has to do with that specific area or part affiliated with the DTC as problematic.
