Howdy all,

I lost my OEM remote start FOB for my CX-5 a few weeks back and thought I could just pick up a replacement online. I purchased one that was "new" and two that were used. When I follow the instructions for programming the remote start FOBs, I have two slightly different sets of instructions, one from dealer and one from "new" unit I purchased, they don't register properly. Is there some sort of registration that needs to be cleared in these? I took one apart but saw nothing that looked helpful, like a reset button. You're supposed to press a buttons in a sequence and then all lights on the remote start FOB should light up, but that doesn't happen. They just act like I'm trying to start the car.

Any ideas on how to proceed here?
