New to me 2017
Newbie here. Just recently got a sweet deal on a 2017 CX5. Has 83k miles and is super clean. Carfax showed oil changed religiously every 5k miles. Anything I need to be aware of? Every car has its quirks and I’m sure the CX5’s do as well. I do plan to check the condition of the tranny fluid as I don’t believe in the “lifetime fluid” bs. YouTube video it looks like a pretty straight forward and simple process. Thanks in advance for any replies.
At 83 k miles IMHO AND BASED ON the shops experience through observation and problem solving as well many oil analysis you are at least 40k+ over do for a simple pan fluid and filter replacement
So leave it alone or change as soon as I can?
by doing the pan filter service you will be and to get a better idea about the condition.
take plenty of pictures of the pan ,pan magnets a the valve body and post them.
I posted pictures recently doing my 5/7 k service that may help you
