Default New to Forum. Problem with BSM 2024 CX5

Hello everyone, brand new to forum. Our CX5 is not 3 months old. Someone tapped the left bumper and now there is a Blind Spot Malfunction light on the dash. The actual damage to the area appears to be not more than a paint scrape.
Does anyone know of a way to reset the left sensor as I do not think it has been damaged. The recalibration procedure is beyond me as is removing the rear bumper and replacing the sensor. Dealer price for the aforementioned work is a small fortune.
Thanks for any guidance.
Tony

If you don't wish to use the factory trained technicians to work on your technologically advanced automobile, you will need to find a workshop that deals with ADAS ( Advanced driver-assistance system )

Because the bumper is plastic & flexible you can't tell if the sensor has been touched & bent the mounting bracket, putting the sensor out of alignment.
