Hi everyone. My name is Will. I wanted to introduce myself. I am a Service Manager at a Mazda dealership and have two CX5's. My wife has a 2020 Touring (Eternal Blue Mica) and I have a 2017 Sport (also Eternal Blue Mica). We have owned a 2014 CX5 Sport and a 2015 CX5 Touring. Below is my Sport. I had the OEM fog light kit installed with yellow tint applied, Mazda 6 19" Grand Touring wheels, 2021 Carbon Edition grill, gloss black front grill trim, Homelink mirror, OEM roof rails, tinted windows, Grand Touring tail lamps, AliExpress rear bumper turn/tail/brake lights, blacked out rear Mazda emblem, leather steering wheel and leather dash vent trim and console knee trim from a Touring trim, carbon fiber lower steering wheel trim, Apple Carplay and LED interior, front and rear turn signals and license plate lights.
I purchased a 2017 CX-5 last year and have fallen in love with it since, my only complaint is I wish it had just a little more power like the later versions with the turbo. In the $200-600 range before installation costs, what is a good place to start to increase my output? If there’s a better forum to repost this on for help I would also appreciate being pointed in the right direction.
I don't think you will find an easy/effective solution in that range, but if there is one forum member "Callisto" will likely guide you in the right direction. He has done a lot of mods on his 2.5 Mazda 3.
