New CX-5 wind noise after ppf

You say that you had the windows tinted. Has anyone checked the seals around the window glass? A miniscule gap will cause a lot of wind noise. Close the windows and put some low adhesive painters tape around the window edges on the inside and go for a drive. If the noise goes away, the installer should be able to cut the tint back enough to give a better seal without affecting the visible tint. PPF on the hood, bumpers and headlights couldn't cause any wind noise that you'd be able to hear.
The Mazda like many platforms and model has a set lock upright window closer position. The reason for trimming the top edge of the tint is to ensure that the tint does not catch and tear. It will not impede the seal area and cause noise. As per 3M.

At this point I’m losing hope in a resolution. Thanks for all of the replies and attempts to help with ideas.
It is such a weird issue that no one wants to touch in my area. When I describe it, they all just say to go to dealer or xpel place that did the install. (which neither of those were able to fix it)
I’ll just have to live with it until inventory of other brands builds up. Definitely disappointed with my Mazda experience, but I realize my scenario is a rare one. ✌️
