picked up the car on friday...i like how simple and intuitive everything is with the controls...i like the hand dial and not having a touchscreen...i only drove it home from the dealer...have to get registration, insurance and inspection taken care of so i haven't bothered to drive it as i also want to get all my accessories installed...driving an extra vehicle for the week till i have everything so the dogs don't screw it up right off the bat...i didn't get to try the carplay cause my usb c to lightning cable was at work

received the phone holder, screen protector, seat covers and the set of floor mats/cargo tray/seat back protection from amazon last week...updated links will be added to original post...

-front seat cover was nice but a pain to install...so removal would be a pain...rear cover negated the use of the seat belts as well as the 40/20/40 seats...returned and picked up a set which are much easier to remove and clean and are made for dogs...

-phone holder was nice but i didn't like the phone cradle...the car mount was perfect...luckily most of these things have a universal ball mount size so i swapped the phone cradle with an iottie amazon cradle that i already had

-screen protector was fine...good for using the touchscreen when using carplay (which i don't use often) and so it doesn't get scratched when cleaning

-the rear seat back protection was good, the floor mats were good but the cargo mat i did not like...returned all of it...reordered just the seat back protection again and ordered husky weatherbeater liners for the floor mats and cargo tray (upper position)...better quality than amazon but less expensive than weathertech

If you use the Magsafe part of an iPhone, the phone holder I linked below is custom fit and has worked awesome on my 14 Pro Max with an Otterbox case.

Amazon Amazon

picked up lower bumper cover grills for a little added radiator protection...may add some large mesh screen behind it... https://a.co/d/1fwHWRn

still looking around to see what else is out there that i would consider must have but haven't seen anything else yet...also haven't been through a summer with this car yet so maybe other needs will arise when it gets warmer

Everything looks good except:
Those seat covers really fit bad and look terrible! You should have spent a little more money for better seat covers.
All those power supply cables can be better routed. The way you have them looks like a trap for a disaster to happen. Not to mention so unsightly.

A point that everyone should be careful and aware of regarding some floor matts that are so close and raised lip next your drive-by-wire. If the floor mat shifts for any reason forward it can affect the operation in an unsafe position.

seat covers are for protection from dogs and are designed to be loose so they are easy to remove and reinstall when you have passengers in the car...my dogs are in the car every weekday along with my child so they stay in most of the time...wife has similar covers in her car...i like that the rear seat cover allows the center seat section to be folded down while maintaining protection on the 2 side seats which is the main reason i went with these...i don't like the seat belt access ports for the rear seat cover...they give you velcro slits...since the rear seat belt buckles are recessed into the seat instead of having a little lead from the connection point it makes the buckles hard to access for a child...i also put a strip of velcro mated to a foam pad over the rough side of the velcro slit so it always stays open and is not as rough on hands when buckling in...for now i have been buckling her in myself...i will probably end up cutting them a little to allow for more access

cable routing is fine...they are hooked around the infotainment screen and out of my way which is all that matters...have never been a problem in either of my 2 previous cars where i had a gps + radar detector + dash cam routed the wires similarly without having an infotainment screen...but then i had all my cables in my previous cars plugged into the 12v outlet inside the arm rest compartment cause it was neater...but since this car has an always powered 12v outlet inside the arm rest compartment i have to use the 12v outlet in front of the shifter...poor design idea, functionality should be flip flopped on those outlets or both should be accessory powered...my cable setup doesn't look nice but it's effective which is all i care

floor mats can't shift on the front driver's side or passenger side...they connect to the oem floor mat anchors...it's only rubber and could be trimmed if ever needed anyway...the rear mat is 1 large mat that crosses the whole floor so it really can't shift even though it's not anchored...the only one that has shifted slightly from time to time is the trunk tray since it doesn't have little spikes on the bottom and there is weight on top of it so it will slide back to the rear hatch a little from time to time which is no worry

may try to find some grip tape for the bottom of the door sill to give the dogs some extra grip when getting out of the car or will have to train them to use a ramp or some stairs

Dogs un- leashed or secure or even not separated from the passengers by a safety screen in a vehcle IMHO should be a vehcle code violation in all states not just a small handful. If dog owners don't understand that they are not the smartest induvial on the planet and should revisit Newton 3rd law of physics.

The floor mat of the design you choose do can and often do shift and has shown to be a concern with drive-by-wires. Don't fool yourself. However, I do use a similar design and top recognized brand in my Mazda.

As for your thought about the cables all over the dash and front display.... UNORGANIZED and easily can be cleaned up! But it does take a little effort and extension of some of the cables.
Do we still stick things on the windshield these days? LOL

Anyway it all a distraction in your cockpit arrangement that is IMHO.

As for your seat covers you still could have done a better job of finding better ones for your purpose or simply invest in having at least the rear custom made to tailor your needs. Really dude they look like a sack of potatoes in your beautiful Mazda!
Just to be clear i rarely ever mention the mods done by owners on any forum but those damn seat cover are just so bad looking wow I had to comment! LOL Don't take it personal I get they serve only a purpose and nothing more. LOL

A suggestion you should consider is to get a carpet in black dash cover. I know some think they look bad but ALL windshield on many platforms reflect glare which can be a PIA visually at time of the suns position relative to the horizon. A Dash cover made with the carpet in BLACK reduces the reflective glare measured at 80%+

Oh and for you an extra bonus feature you can hide in part some of your ape hanging power cables under it. LOL

One last thing for all that have rear head rests. Remove them and improve your rearview mirror visibility. How often do you have passengers in the rear and then how often do they or even you actually adjust them properly when you get seated.
Aside for the improved safety of removing them your interior will have a cleaning more spacious look. Be bold be different pop them suckers of and store for the next owner. LOL

Your Mazda from the outside is clean looking but so cookie cutter white. There is nothing that makes it stand out from other SUV? What are you plans if any.

I would think about covering your shark fin with semi flat black so the illusion from the side will look as if we're not there.
