Default new brakes

Hello all,
Just wondering what you are all using for brakes...rotors and pads...what brands?
I live in Canada and it is hard finding parts where I live, there is a Partsource around here, but they only have their OE brand, person on phone said they are made by Wagner Brakes and are the same as the Wagner Thermoquiet.
Any advice on what brand is best for my 2016 CX-5?
The stock brakes suck and need changing all around.
Thank you

Do the suck because they're worn or do you think they suck because of an insufficient design?

Regarding pads and rotors, I'm pretty agnostic when it comes to pads; depends upon what you expect out of them; as for rotors, I'm a fan of Centric blanks because of the painted hub/hat and edge feature which helps to eliminate rust from forming.

Suck because have to do brakes all around. Vehicle only has 35,000 km on it. Front right has huge lip on edge of rotor. Pad looks like it is broken causing the lip. Back rotors are beat up. Gouged in left side and right is scraping like the pad has broke or something.
just poor quality on factory brake parts.

Brake rotors are high in iron content, in salty environments the corrosion on the rotors can be very hard on the pads. Just a fact of life. By the way, depending upon your commute, 35,000 kilometers could be considered a long life or a short one. There is no universal rule on how long brakes should last.
