I just brought home my new CX-5 late last week; went to use the nav system for the first time today, and the screen read that "this Mazda is not equipped with navigation". Whaaa??? Spent about 15 minutes on the phone with a lovely rep back at Mazda USA who eventually asked me to check if the SD was fully inserted inserted in the slot. Well, there was nothing there, which concerned her. I started dumping out all the materials included with the manual- lo and behold, there was the SD card! Never had been installed. Crisis averted, but seems odd that it was never installed at the dealership?

 

Might have been forgotten to be installed. My new CX-5 had zero washer fluid. Got lucky that I noticed before my windshield was dirty and I would have needed it.
