The easiest thing to do is not have your music up so loud.
I did drive a 2022 CX-5 not too long ago. I believed it muted the music when giving directions.

 

I would set a destination in my GPS and start driving, when it shows a turn, the voice should come on a turn up the volume while she's talking.
If that doesn't work, I would go in the setting and the last tab should be a system reset, that should restore all factory settings. The problem is it may wipe out your radio stations and cell phone connection but those are easy to reload.
