Default Metallic click when initially accelerating - Help

Hello! This is my first time on this forum and I give thanks in advance! I recently purchased a 2019 CX-5 Signature w/ 20k miles. I love everything about it - except one issue: After I start it and place vehicle in Drive and immediately after I begin to press the accelerator, there is a single metallic click/knock sound that comes from the front area of the vehicle. Mazda tech thought it may have to do with brake pad shift but they adjusted & lubed and still happens. It only happens at the outset of driving - I can put it back in Park and even Reverse then to back to Drive and it doesn’t happen again and it doesn’t happen at all in stop/go driving. I’m mortified that it’s something in the transmission and fear something failing just after it’s out of warranty. I’m planning to bring it back to the tech at the Mazda dealership but thought I’d throw this out here and see if anyone can lend a hand to my anxiety about this noise. Happy driving!
