Default Mazda CX-5 vs. Jeep Cherokee in snow?

I understand its all about the snow tires. I have seen a video where they test CUVs Jeep,Mazda,Suburu, Honda CRV and they show how great the Mazda grips the snow going up hill with the stock tires. I was curious what others felt using stock tires.

After a disasterous 20,000 miles on my OEM tires I opted for these and love them. https://www.toyotires.com/tire/patte...ditions-tire-0

I put a set of Goodyear Assurance on mine after having good luck with them on my old Outback. They are quiet, wear well and seem to do pretty well in the snow.
