Default Mazda CX-5 Cruise Control Change

Hi all.

I have a CX-5 which an set cruise control speed up to 100km/hr only and cannot set beyond that. For example it cannot set cruise fro 120km/hr. How is this fixed? Please advise. Thank you.

If it is a Japanese used import then 100km/or is the maximum.

As Grim said.
You can get it changed but it requires reprogramming of your ECU.

Not knowing what year your Mazda is as you did not state that ... you can do this to change not only the speed limiters but many other aspects of your Mazda ECU controlled system .

The vehicle is 2014 and what needs to be remapped on the ECU if so?

You cannot perform any changes in the ECU without a program and a little learning where and how to change ECU controlled operations. This procedure is what is called EFI/ECU Performance Calibrating.
You may contact Mazda and see if there is a update that may change the limiters as Grime _reaper suggested but my guess is in your country their laws do not allow any changes to the ECU without breaking the law?
