Default Loving my 2016.5 CX-5, small question though

I just got a GT or Grand Touring in the US. I have one little question. Where the trip meter is, can I get rid of that data to a blank screen or can I select some other info in its place. I don't want to see trip data.

Push and hold in the rod in the gauge to zero out the trip meter. If you want to change data, then on the left thumb of the steering wheel push the info button next to the volume +-.

Thanks for the info but the info button only changes the information above the trips. Can't actually get rid or change the trips. Can only reset them to zero. I just find them annoying and would have liked to get rid of them completely.

Those are the choices love them or hate them. I would have paired the range with current mpg on one screen instead of flipping through the info button.

Tripmeters are becoming obsolete with the proliferation of GPS and trip planners. I use one tripmeter once in awhile to mark distances less than 1 mile, but that's about it.

No, you can't shut off the trip mileage display. Either trip 1 or trip 2 will be shown no matter what you do.

If you find them annoying my advice would be to not look at them.
