Location of vacuum solenoid valve for turbo diverter valve
Hi,
Any one know the location of the solenoid valve which controls the delivery of vacuum to the turbo diverter valve.
I had my cx-5 2013 back with the dealer who says they have fitted a new one, which hasn't fix the problem. Now I want to check if they really have if I can find it. I suspect it's down the back maybe accessable better from below.
Why do I want to check, well 80 miles from dealer to home took in on a Tuesday 9 o'clock got it back following Saturday, drove home found a small improvement which could well be due to two good hot motorway run's and fuel additives, parked up and opened bonnet. First noticed cover missing from battery + main fuse terminal, then found rubber air tube from filter not pushed onto the plastic connection to the inlet manifold at all, also small tube from EGR valve area to spigot just below the air filter hanging down and also the nut and washer which hold the plastic center section of the boost diverted gas tube missing.
So obviously they removed battery, removed air supply and boost diverter tubes to access the diverter valve assembly. But did they actually fit a new solenoid valve ? I want to check as I don't believe a word they say now given what they didn't do putting it back together.
Sent text and photos over a week ago so far no response.
By the way what they were supposed to be finding was reason for black smoke unburned fuel on acceleration and by the smell at all speeds but not visible.

Hi following the help from Grim Reaper" thanks " I spotted the solenoid just about by lying flat on my back. Again did not realize there were 3, again thanks Reaper, Anyway I have found a guy who specialises in the more exotic Mazda MX-5 Rotary and vintage models, only 10 miles away. No website hidden away on industrial estate never advertised, down side never worked on CX-5
Took a chance and called in yesterday and what a difference from the normal experience, he started the motor looked at the smoke and stink I told him the story of the state it came back from the dealer (as in original post) and I had found solenoid but looked to be just hanging by tubing not fixed as in Reaper's photo. So right away let's get it inside, on to ramp and there was the solenoid hanging down what they had done was just leave the original in place and swapped the tubes etc. So for the next hour he checked for fault codes with both solenoids connected in turn getting the same results from both, no fault, introduced faults removed a tube both the same so for now the original is back in use. With the original in use he took it (and me) for a test run 3 or 4 miles to see it still runs ands the boost ok, for me anyway. His thoughts are he can hear and feel it not right even though it goes great, in my eyes, but then I am pretty deaf and not a motor mechanic.
Ran the diagnosis again still no faults so as it still needs some pointers as to what is happening he is going to get on the the phone to contacts he has at Mazda before doing anything else. Then get it back in, when I asked what I owed it was no charge was happy just having a hands on a different model.
