Default Instrument cluster display n 2016 CX-5 Grand Touring 2WD Diplays Erronious Statistic

Hello,

I have a 2016 CX-5 Grand Touring 2WD that I purchased 2 weeks ago. I bought it in new in Mexico. I noticed over the weekend, while driving on the highway, that the average MPH was stuck at 20 MPH while I was averaging approx 60 MPH. I also noticed that the current MPG would continues to display MPG values ranging from 15 MPG to 99.9 MPG. There is obviously something wrong with the data that is being displayed. I tried factory reset of the system along with resetting the individual displays by holding the center of the info switch for 2 seconds. I still have the same problem. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Nope.. perfectly normal. The sample table the dashboard uses is looooong. After about a month it will run out of the data from its dormant dealer lot days and begin to be more accurate. Although don't expect much from the avg mph, even though most of my commute is on i95 at 70-75mph I still only avg 50ish. It is pretty useless. But my avg mpg is good, 36.7! (mazda3)
