I know it's too late for you, but that scenario is why I always carry a quart of the correct oil in any motor vehicle I own.

Not me I just carry in an envelope with my insurance and registration information my:

300 towing same day included....

Yeah...I have both plus a friend with a AWD flatbed tow truck.
Unfortunately, there are areas AAA doesn't service in this state and/or would take a day or more to do so.
Especially some of my favorite brook trout fishing spots.
