Home link buttons

I recently purchased a 2018 Grand Touring CX 5 ...are the home link buttons supposed to be backlit at night?

I think they are not. I have also difficulty locating them in the dark.

No, they aren't . My mirror has a little green power light between the 2nd and 3rd button, I just count over with my finger to get the right button. I had a Outback with the same mirror, they weren't lit on it either.
