High pitched whine after engine is shut down
Hi all.....This is my first post as I haven't had any problems with my 2017 cx-5 gt. When I turn off the car I get a high pitched whine under the hood for about 15 secs. It always does this so I feel it is normal but does anyone know what it is? Thanks

My 2014 has made his sound since it was new. The engine doesn't even have to have been running, just the ignition in the "full on" position (full instrument display) then shut. It sounds like an electrical oscillation of some kind. I'll be concerned the day I don't hear it! LOL! 😄 It's the Skyactive "Call of the wild".

High pitched whine after engine is shut down generally this happens when I drive my other car that has a muti-port Nitrous system and I just got into a street race and schooled some pimple faced kid in a "ricer". The whine is the sound of my wife giving me a lecture...... LOL
