Default Help required! Head Gasket Issues on 2012 Diesel CX-5

Hello,

I am hoping someone can help me please!!
I recently took my CX-5 back to Mazda as it was recalled due to a fault with the shutter valve. I got it back and the car was fine for 2 weeks, then all of a sudden blue smoke was pouring out of the exhaust and the car lost power.
I had the car towed to Mazda and paid £85 for them to tell me it was the head gasket and possibly cylinder head, they have quoted £3,000 to fix it. Prior to this there were no signs of overheating or burning oil. The car has been serviced regularly and even had a 'health check' by Mazda when it was recalled yet nothing was mentioned about this.
I have been reading lots of forums and can see this is an issue with a lot of 2012 CX-5's some saying Mazda are aware of the issue. A few people have managed to get Mazda to pay for the repairs but when I have spoke to them they will not help in anyway!
Is there any evidence anyone can share with me to help me when I am in contact with Mazda as they are stating they are not aware of any issues (I have asked them to put this in writing but I am still waiting for the written response).
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
