I recently bought 2016 CX5 Sport with left headlight damage. I bought original replacement headlight both headlight models are w0462, but mechanic couldn't move bulbs from old to replacement headlight due to different locking base. First two photos are of broken one, After those two, three photos are of replacement headlight. it has weird white plug as you can see on photo. Please explain whats the difference. Thanks
Looks like they're different. The original headlight has W2-62-7L in the first image, whereas the replacement headlight assembly says W0-4-76L in the fourth image. I'm not sure what that means is different between the two, but it might be for a differently equipped CX-5 trim level or something...

I’ve had my 2022 Mazda CX-5 for about 3 years, and recently ran into a frustrating issue — one of the headlights started making noise just 2 months after the warranty expired.
