We have a 2014 AWD CX-5 with about 85,000 miles on it,

Wondering what maintenance, I should be doing with transmission, brakes, plugs, fluids, etc. Can I get some tips?

Also, I am going to get tires on it soon. It has General Altimax RT43 now. Is there a best recommended tire? Should i use General again?

I personally have responded with some lengthy recommendation and service advice.

 

If I don't know the maintainence history on the car, I'd change the transmission, differential, transfer case, coolant, and brake fluids since they could be original. I would change the plugs since they're due at that mileage anyways. I wouldn't touch the pads or rotors unless they're low or having issues. As far as tires I would check Walmart and Amazon first to see what they have deals on. I've had some crazy good luck from them.
