Default Heater temperature

Anyone notice that the heater is slow to come up to temp and then even at full twist of the temp **** it's not all that hot? My old Elantra could bake you in short order from a cold start, granted the CX-5 cabin space is much larger than the Hyundai and mind you I'm in So Cal so it's not as big of a deal as say Minot ND or some such but I'm still curious.

Default I've noticed it also

Compared to the Pontiac Vibe I traded in the CX-5 doesn't heat up as fast or get as hot.

I haven't experienced that. It seems to heat up faster than my Altima and once warm I set it at 50% and it keeps the cabin warm. This is on 40 degree days.

And you need it for sure up in the cold north central (I was born during a blizzard in the Twin Cities).
