Default Got tips?

New owner with a 2023 Turbo. Wondering if anyone has added or changed the exhaust tips? They are a little small and curious if anyone has changed it up to fill up the cut out section.

Post where you got em and how you installed.

This forum is pretty good actually, many forums are simply platforms for opinionated arguments.
That said, the thread did have all the info you need on exhaust tips of which there seems to be as many types of them as there are places that sell them.
I would reiterate that if it were me, I'd buy after-market exhaust with the tips that satisfied my need but that is only my opinion.
I would stay away from bolt or clamp on tips unless you get them welded on. My past experience has shown you'll have issue keeping them tight, from rattling and falling off.
Good luck with whichever you decide.

Snakecharmer383 Welcome to the forum

Ya that thread got into some interesting "opinions'. I might point out that one of the members that argued also spent money buying 2 systems and end up sell both of them. lol

That space you don't like is to prevent the plastic from burning/melting btw. Exhaust tips can get very hot.

The interesting thing is they changed the tips on your CX-5 ('22 and up Turbo and Signature models) from the original style, which came out in 2017. The tips on my turbo are flat at the end and even smaller.

I guess the slight cosmetic changes makes for advertising "new features."
Otherwise there is no real technical advantages to old or new style tips.

The OP was asking about exhaust tips, not exhaust systems, so your remark has no relevance.

He was discussing the exhaust forum, so yes it does have relevance. Exhaust tips correlate with your exhaust system too...
